Rule Proposal for 2013
Change name of class to FWD Touring.
Adopt proven rule set used nationally for this class as below:
6.1 Chassis
6.1.1 Any FWD chassis is allowed according to the specifications however, any new chassis not listed in 6.1.3 must be submitted to MMCRC committee for specifications approval.
6.1.2 Chassis’ to qualify for this class must have a front wheel drive layout meaning the motor must be mounted in the front and the drive wheels must be the front wheels.
6.1.3 Approved chassis’
a. 3 Racing Sakura FF
b. Tamiya FF03
c. TOP Racing Sabre
6.2 Motors
6.2.1 Brushed - The motor is limited to a standard Sport Tuned Motor (53068). Any attempt to modify or to influence the ability of the motor is not allowed. RPM Limit as per 2.7.5.3. Any Drive Ratio allowed
6.2.2 Brushless – Only the following Brushless Combos will be allowed
• Team Wave RB0 13.5 Combo
• Speed Passion Citrix 13.5 Combo
• HobbyWing JS4 13.5 Combo
• Tamiya Brushless Motor 14T (Item 54251) in conjunction with the Tamiya Brushless ESC 01 (Item 45038).
No motors and electronic speed controls with adjustable timing or turbo functions will be allowed
Any Brushless Motor or Electronic Speed Control not listed above needs to be submitted to the MMCRC Committee for approval
6.3 Drive Ratio for Brushless Motors Only
a. Tamiya FF03/FF03 Pro - only the following spur/pinion combinations will be allowed
• 96T spur & 51T pinion
• 90T spur & 48T pinion
• 89T spur & 48T pinion
• 68T spur & 36T pinion
Standard idler gear and standard counter gear will be permitted.
b. Top Sabre – only a 24T pinion, 37T spur gear and standard counter gear will be permitted.
c. 3 Racing Sakura FF - only a 22T pinion, 40T spur gear, standard idler gear and standard counter gear will be permitted
d. Any other pinion/spur combinations must be submitted to the Committee for approval
6.4 Tyres – See 3.8
6.5 Minimum weight of the car ready to run is to be 1,380g, without a transponder.
This way you can choose your poison where everybody is catered for and everybody will be competitive without anybody having an edge over the next guy.

like this rule, been racing at MMCRC for 3 years and moving back to cpt, will defnitly come race
