Will be taking a two to three month break from R/C and racing at TRCCC until weather and temperatures improve.

Still need electronics, so my FWD is not ready as of yet.

What the boys up to on the track?

We've been looking at getting the moss/algae removed off of the track surface and then getting a slurry put down on the surface so that we can get some more grip.

We have tested out some slurry mixes and we have found one we are happy with.  The only issue with it is, it dries quite a dark brown - which isn't ideal as we wanted to get a light colour.  Finding a pigment that we can use in the slurry is proving to be very difficult though!  At least we have found the right topping and the right chemicals to clean off the surface.

Now it's just to get the necessary funds sorted out and then we can get it done.

At the same time Dave & Kevin A are arranging to have the fence moved to behind the drivers stand.

How you manage this with a fulltime job, plus family and kids I don't know.

The guys who deserve the credit for the track work is Kevin G and Dion.  They are really doing a great job.
