This coming week we back to Racing!!!!


We will be running Race 4 of F1, FWD Touring and 12th Pan.


Please come and support the event! It will be loads of fun!!!


Please arrive at 7 to help setup. Racing will start at 8 sharp!

And it's perfect racing weather - I might have to consider getting a FWD Touring Car.

I see 3Racing has a beauty for 2014, the Sakura FF2014 for about $249.00 at RC Mart. Enjoy the racing this evening gents and good luck! I have some cars to clean, my TT is almost spotless, then I have to get stuck into my TC4 and Mi1.

Neville, you are not helping the situation. (The Serpent FWD is way out of my league in terms of price, the VBC as well and the T.O.P FWD I can't find online. There's the Tamiya FF03 Pro, but I'm wanting to try a new brand.)

As for electronics, I was thinking about the HobbyWing QuicRun 13.5T Combo.

 

One last thing, how likely is there to be an off road track being built at TRCCC? (Need to start planning/saving for a SC truck from Team Durango.)

The top racing sabre vd2 is available from the local top racing agent, Antonio Caroli. 
He also sells 13.5 combos for R1200.

I spoke to him not to long ago when other trccc guys were querying the prices of the 21.5 and 13.5 combos (motor, esc and programme card).

With regards to off road track at trccc:

Well that is definitely possible and will be done once on road track extension, etc is complete.

In terms of time.... I'm not sure...

I have come across his website with all their prices. It's R3,350 for the Sabre FD2.

Would be best for me to give it more thought... I get tempted way too easily when it comes to R/C.
