Next Event: 2hour Enduro and Prize Giving on Tuesday the 10 December 2013

Good Evening Guys
 
This coming Tuesday night we will be having our end year Prize Giving followed by
our famous 2hr Enduro Team race.
 
Please arrive at 7 to help set up.
 
We want to get the prize giving out the way asap so we can race
 
Racing will start at 8.
 
We have 10 slots open for teams. So please get ur entries in asap.
 
Teams may consist of 2 or 3 drivers.
 
This time round we will be choosing teams on the night. Names will go into a hat and teams will be selected like that.

 
The Rules are as follows:
 
Race duration: 2hrs
 
Chassis: Any 4wd Chassis allowed, drivers to drive their own car. Only one Car allowed per driver. If drivers car breaks he can fix it but if its beyond repair then he can use his team mates car.
 
Motors: Only Standard Silver can motors allowed.
 
Batteries: Any bats, compulsory minimum 10 battery stops. Battery change is made with driver change.
 
Tyres: Only rubber tyres permitted. NO FOAMS!!!!
 
Pit stops: Cars to be placed back on track at the same point when doing pit stop. At every battery change there must be a driver change. NO PIT STOPS TO BE MADE ON THE MAIN STRAIGHT. Designated pit stop area will be marked for ALL teams to use. If team fails to use that Designated Pit area then his pit stop made outside the disignated pit area will NOT count!
 
Bodies: Any body, you may share a body within the team or use different bodies per car.
 
Transponders: You may only use one transponders per team. Depending on team preference, same body shared will result in changing body during pit stop, different body used will result in swopping transponder over during pit stops.
 
Entries: Limited to 10 Teams of two or three drivers, R30 per person racing.
 
 

"The Nitty Gritty"
Teams of two or three, each driver drives his own chassis for his stint(s) for the full duration of the race. If a team mates car breaks, the driver has to fix the car he is racing, it adds to the spirit of endurance racing, his team mate may lend him his car if the broken car cant be fixed. At the end of the race the cars that started must be the cars that finished.
There will also be a quick 2 minute qualifying race to determine grid.

Not sure about racing the 2hr Enduro Event, but will be up to marshal.

Sorry about that.

Waiting on my TT-01, which will have a Tamiya 540-J silver can motor which should be early 2014.

Would like to keep my Schumacher Mi1 brushless, and work on a good setup and gearing for that.

You guys are going to need a marshal with plenty of stamina, which I'll have.

But... if no one crashes! (Probably not going to happen.)

Guys need to calm down those trigger fingers... Save some tires and pace for the last 30 minutes.

Will it be the same set of tyres for the whole 2 hours/per car?

U may use any set of rubber tires and change to other rubber tires during race.

No foams allowed.

I ran a old set of rubber tires last time and it is still going. Minimal tire wear.
