RULES:
1. Race Duration
All races shall be of 5 (five) minutes duration.

2. Qualifying and Mains System
All classes will have two qualifying rounds and a final race for an event. All mains will preferably have ten (10) cars, but the Race Director will decide on the amount of cars for an A-, B-, or C- Main. Four (4) cars in a final will be considered as an official race and eligible for trophies or certificates and points. Should a main not be run as result of rain or any unforeseen reason, then the grid position as per the qualifying rounds will apply as the final result and points will be awarded accordingly.

3. Determining starting grid position
Grid position for the first heat of all classes will be determined by random computer draw for a starting position. The grid position for the second round of races will be determined according the finish position of the first heat. Final grid positions will be determined by the best qualifying round of the individual and as determined by the computer system.

4. Race Starting Procedure
The Race Director will start each race at the time. This person is the only person who is able to abort a race after 30 seconds prior to the race. Each race will be started in the following way:

Mains starts will have all cars line up on the grid according to their car numbers. At 30 seconds, the starter will clear the grid, after which no cars may be attended to, or added to the grid. Latecomers must start from the pits after the last car has passed. After the clear grid signal, the starter will say “Drivers Stand By”. After this, a count of 10 to 5 will be called or signalled by computer. After this there will be a 3 to 7 second random delay and then a start signal for all to start.
It is the driver’s responsibility to do a transponder check before the 30-second hands-off signal commences. If a transponder is not functioning within operating parameters due to the location the transponder is mounted in the car, no additional time will be granted to rectify the problem.

5. Jump Starts

A jump-start will be defined as:-

1. A person who jumps out of his grid position but does not cross the 1 meter line ahead of his position, they will be allowed to start and have a 10 second time penalty added to their last lap time.
2. A person who jumps and crosses the 1-meter line will have a 1-lap penalty incurred for that race.
3. A person who edges or moves after the HANDS OFF (30 second) call, but comes to rest before the start, will wait where he/she is, and incur the respective penalty. Should the car be interfered with under the same circumstances, the race director will abort the start and the offending car will be placed at the back of the grid without a penalty.
6. Penalties
The following penalties will be applied. Other penalties can be applied at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course. Any person has the right to appeal against any penalty passed upon them, providing that he/she has the necessary proof or information to uphold their case.

6.1 Failure to marshal without arranging acceptable substitute.
A One lap penalty will be issued against your fastest qualifying heat should the infringement occur during the Qualifying. This penalty will be announced upon posting of the said races results. The penalty will be applied after all heats have taken place. During the mains, the offender will have a lap removed from the main race involved.

6.2 Failure to comply with Behavioural and etiquette requirements.
The Clerk of the Course will first verbally warn the competitor. Should the problem persist, he will then take action. This could lead to disqualification from a race and/or disqualification from the said event. If a person is disqualified from the event, he/she will NOT get a refund. The referee also has the authority issue penalties related to behavioural standards during a race.

6.3 Vehicle infringements.
Should a car be found to be outside the specifications laid out in this rulebook at a pre race check, the driver will be allowed to correct the problem before starting. The Race Director will not wait or hold the clock for this purpose. Should the car be found to be outside the specifications laid out in this rulebook at a Post race check, the car will then be disqualified and the result removed. Apart from weight, race damage will be taken into consideration during a post race check. Should the car be disqualified, it would only be for that race. The driver will be allowed to correct the problem for the next race, with the exception of any illegal device such as modified motors in stock classes, or out of spec batteries. These infringements could lead to harsher penalties from the Clerk of the Course.

6.4 Transmitter Violation.
A transmitter violation is when a competitor has his/her transmitter on in the pit area without the permission of the Clerk of the Course, or is not competing in a specific heat or final at the time. Should this be the case, the Clerk of the Course has the right to disqualify the competitor from the whole event.

7. Etiquette and Behavioural Requirements
It is expected of all people who are involved in the event, regardless of capacity or competition level, to uphold a good standard of behaviour at all times. Any bad behaviour will be dealt with severely at all times. No verbal abuse or harassment may be directed at any official or marshal. Shouting, swearing and flaring tempers are all part of bad behaviour. Severe swearing, physical abuse, property damage to fellow competitors, Club or spectator will result in the member being immediately requested to leave the event and could then lose their status as a Club member and in turn forfeit all funds paid to the Club. The Clerk of the Course further has the right to warn and/or ban any competitor, family member or spectator from an event if the etiquette and behavioural requirements of the Club is not adhered to.

8. Misconduct
Members shall be guilty of misconduct if he/she

- Disregards or wilfully fails to carry out a lawful order given to him by a Committee Member;
- Assaults, attempts or threaten to assault any other member or visitor;
- Endangers the safety of fellow members or visitors;
- Promotes or incited unrest amongst the Club Members;
- Intimidated fellow members;
- While at the property of the Club, conducts himself in an improper way or disgraceful manner or at any time behaves in such a manner that the image of the club is harmed;
- Is in unauthorised possession, removes or attempts to remove from the Club property belonging to the Club, fellow members or visitors;
- Wilfully or negligently damages property of the Club, and
- Possesses a dangerous weapon at the Club without prior authorisation.
- No member will incite club members to race at another club or offer money to do so.
- No other club will be bad mouthed by any competing and paid up member.

The Committee, whose decision is final and binding, will decide on the punishment if a member is found guilty of misconduct.

9. Black Flag Policy
1. A black flag will be given to a driver whose driving, vehicle operation, or performance constitutes a hazard to the other vehicles in the race. This includes insufficient skills to compete in the class, unsportsmanlike driving, intentional hitting of other vehicles, intentional short coursing, intentional corner cutting, intentional blocking when being overtaken, illegal or improper vehicle numbers and other such acts.
2. When a driver is given the Black Flag, it means that the driver must pull his/her vehicle off the track immediately. The driver will remain on the drivers stand until that heat or race is over.
3. A black flag ruling may be used at any time for unsportsmanlike conduct or abusive language to other drivers or race officials.
4. A driver who receives three warnings in an event from a referee or race official will be black-flagged.
5. Any vehicle that loses its body, or that cannot be controlled properly due to radio problems, race damage, or missing parts will be black-flagged.

10. Marshalling Procedure
The Marshalling System to be used for all PRCCC events will follow the following procedure:

1. A driver will fill the role of a marshal after each race he/she competes in.
2. Once completing his/her race and placing their car on the scrutineer’s bench, the driver will then report to the chief marshal to be allocated a marshalling point unless he has been assigned as race referee in which case he has to take up position on the drivers stand.
3. The marshal may only return to collect his/her car from the Scrutineer once the "all clear" signal has been given on the race they have marshalled.
4. A driver must marshal any race that follows a race they have been assigned to, regardless of whether they actually took part in that race or not.
5. A driver may only assign a fellow competitor or pit crew to marshal in his/her place, but it remains the competitor’s responsibility to insure that his/her replacement follows the proper procedure. Any penalties incurred will be the competitor’s penalty and not the replacement's. No children are allowed to marshal as a replacement.
6. The marshal, or replacement, must have registered with the chief marshal at the one-minute signal prior to the start of the race, which is issued by race control.
7. A marshal shall only remove a car, which is stranded due to failure, and place it in a safe location, in order to clear the track for other traffic. He/she may not attempt to rectify the problem on the car, or return the car to the pits.
8. If any driver fail to do his/her marshalling duties after a race which he/she has completed, said driver will be disqualified from that race and all points and positions obtained will become null en void.
